To ensure a consistent approach to all incidents, claims are administered directly from Head Office via an extensive network of branch offices and specialist adjusters. Our claims department has handled more than 2,000 claims in the last 10 years. This experience has conferred a great deal of knowledge and expertise in the handling of loss situations, some of which can be catastrophic in nature, hence the importance of a knowledgeable and efficient claims service.

Clients can expect as part of the service;

• Assistance in the recovery from third parties of insured and uninsured losses.
• Risk Management involvement in claims to assist client with loss limitation techniques. The application and improvement of these techniques may continue long after the loss has concluded.
• Site visits by claims personnel at all relevant stages in the development of a loss including a debriefing session following conclusion of the claim in conjunction with our risk management surveyors.

This section should be viewed and is viewed by our many clients as a dedicated service within the overall Aquaculture Department which is designed first and foremost to render assistance to clients. It aids swift and sympathetic management of any loss which is essential as insured's are often at their most vulnerable during these times. The earliest possible resumption of production and cash flow may be of vital importance.
