Sunderland Marine is a specialist international insurance company operating in a global market. It is a Mutual Company where the emphasis is on the provision of an efficient and effective service to its Membership in response to the problems they experience and for which they are insured under our policies of insurance.

The Company has succeeded in steering a successful course through many industry, technological and commercial changes since its formation at the end of the 19th century and this, in no small measure, has been due to the commitment and calibre of Staff employed by the Company over the years. This loyalty and the success is reflected in the longevity of careers enjoyed with the Company – which in a market place which has become ever more mobile, transitory and legislatively controlled, is itself reflective of a fulfilling and happy working environment, one which the Company strives to maintain.
